I am using your Bitvise SFTP client from Tunnelier 4.02. It is connected to an OpenSSH server. The server is actually running on top of VxWorks. When I log in with the SFTP client, I always get the same warning in the Log:
Listing remote folder '/RamDiskVol:filesystem' failed. EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION.
When I use the command line version (sftpc), the directory listing is OK (but then it is just text). Here is the first few lines after a dir command.
drwxrwxrwx 1 admin wrs 1024 Jul 22 14:48 .
drwxrwxrwx 1 admin wrs 1024 Jul 22 14:48 ..
-rwxrwxrwx 1 admin wrs 131068 Jul 22 14:48 log.bin
-rwxrwxrwx 1 admin wrs 32 Aug 11 2044 trapflag.cfg
It looks like there could be a parsing error between the GUI client and server when the server replies to SSH_FXP_READDIR. I have tried this with a bunch of GUI SFTP clients and they all work OK except the bitvise SFTP. Any suggestions?
I've indentified and fixed this problem. The reason for this failure was due to improper time conversion handling, which manifested itself only when one of the file's modify time (that were being listed) was not in 1970 - 2038 year range.
The new version will be released shortly.
